3. Findings

Table 1 illustrates the of male and female students who are satisfied with a range of of the PolyU.

3.1 Library

Only around a of both male and female students expressed with the library at the PolyU. This could be for several , including the noisy environment in the library, the lack of new editions of popular books and the general cleanliness of the surroundings. An of this is that fewer students might study in the library which could lead to lower levels of academic achievement.

3.2 Sports Facilities

Three as many females (75%) are with the sports facilities compared to males (24%). It that the relocation of the football pitch to facilitate the construction of a new teaching block has had an effect on male of sports facilities, while females have been less affected by this measure. One of this is that the performance of the PolyU football team might suffer during inter-university competitions.

3.3 Eating Venues

eating venues, there is a large difference with nearly two thirds of female undergraduates dissatisfied while four five male scholars find the restaurants and canteens satisfactory. This might be to the limited choice of menu that is available which while not a for males is a cause of for females, as well as the lack of healthy choices which females might prefer. 3.4 Fees

Neither male female students are happy with the fees that are charged with more than half . It is that students find the fees too high compared to their families’ income, and a result of this is that for some students their debt will continue to increase during their studies, while others will more time to part-time work in order to reduce the financial .
